There is something lovely and simple about linocut printing. It's easy and fun for all ages. A print is created by carving a design into a block of lino, rolling ink onto the surface, laying paper or fabric on top, and then applying pressure to produce a print.

In this workshop you will gain an overview of the process for making a simple single-color linocut, which is useful for beginners and those reacquainting themselves with the art form.

You can choose to create a gift card, bookmark, label or artwork. No experience is necessary, only your enthusiasm.

Bring an image, use one provided, or create your own
a notebook and pencil,
comfy shoes, aprons, drink and lunch.
At the end of the workshop, you will have several prints and the skills to print at home.
