It was a day of celebration when the Toronto Community Hub was opened on 30 September 2000. It is managed by an elected committee of volunteers, governed by a constitution, and funded through hall and kitchen hire. 

Over the years the hall has truly been the hub of the community holding various events and activities for all ages.

Currently, permanent activities include Tai Chi, Seniors, Computer, and Garden Groups. Catholic Care

Community Kitchen and U3A hire the hall weekly while other groups and individuals hold workshops and other events.
