What happens in a class and throughout the term?
At the beginning of the term, there will be a brief introduction, meet and greet the other participants, go through drumming basics, some background and technique. Most classes start with a warm-up, maybe a game, body percussion or a djembe warm-up to learn new phrases. Then moving on to learning rhythm, and will cover 2 rhythms throughout the term, with plenty of time for revision. The class will finish with some extended play, with a sense of joy, connectedness and a touch of healthy fatigue.
I’ve never drummed before. Is this for me?
This is our most accessible drumming class for beginners
